AVON — Police continue to search for an Avon mother who went missing last week and they are hoping the public can help them find her.

Najah Ferrell, 30, was last seen around 3 a.m. on March 15 at her home in the area of Dan Jones Road and County Road 100 South.

Avon Police Deputy Chief Brian Nugent said investigators located some of her personal belongings in the area of I-465 and Lafayette Road over the weekend. What exactly was found has not been released.

Nugent says an IMPD officer located Ferrell's vehicle in the area of 86th Street and Michigan Road around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police are planning a search in the area where Ferrell's belongings were located Tuesday afternoon, but say there are currently no other details to release.

A press conference has also been scheduled for Thursday afternoon at the Avon Police Department to update the public on the search efforts to find her.

If you have any information on Najah Ferrell's whereabouts or saw her anytime in the last two weeks contact the Hendricks County Communications Center at 317-839-8700 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
