KNIGHTSTOWN — It was an exciting day at Knightstown Intermediate School as fifth graders were able to see the results of their hard work.
Knightstown students teamed up with Steve and Julia Roberts' pet therapy dogs, Alvin and Arlo, to sell calendars to raise money for pet oxygen masks for local fire departments.
The students raised enough money to buy 20 masks.

Fire departments from Rush, Henry and Hancock County received the kits equipped with the oxygen masks. The fire departments say they are grateful.
"It's exciting to see kids this young passionate about a certain thing," Ervin Olsheske, the Knightstown Assistant Fire Chief, said.
The owners of the dogs who stared in the calendars say they have 40 extra pet oxygen mask kits. If you know a fire department who needs one, you can contact the owners by email.
