INDIANAPOLIS -- Emergency crews are on the scene of a train derailment downtown.
A freight train derailed several cars near the intersection of College Avenue and Market Street. Two cars, one containing flour and one containing non-hazardous lubricating oil, turned on their sides.
No injuries or spills have been reported.
The train was traveling from Indianapolis to Cincinnati and had two locomotives and 111 freight cars.
The derailment is causing national problems, delaying trips from New York to Chicago. The route going from those cities will be on an hour delay through Saturday morning.
The cause of the derailment is still under investigation.
