FISHERS, Ind. -- The new IKEA in Fishers, Indiana will open in just a few short months, and it needs employees.
The upcoming store, which will open this fall, is hiring 250 workers in many different departments, including:
- home furnishings sales
- interior design/visual merchandising
- customer service
- safety and security
- cashiers
- facility management
- warehouse receiving
- stock replenishment
- child play area supervision
- food service
IKEA offers full medical/dental insurance to anybody working 20 hours or more per week, with eligibility for partners and children. IKEA also recently expanded its policy on paid parental leave.

The 300,000 square-foot Fishers store will be at I-69 and 116th Street. The exact opening date has not been announced.
