IMPD: Missing 5-year-old boy safely located

UPDATE:
INDIANAPOLIS — The missing 5-year-old boy has been safely located, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Sgt. Grace Sibley said in an email Sunday afternoon.

Additional information has not been released.

INDIANAPOLIS — Police are looking for a missing 5-year-old boy who was last seen on Saturday in Indianapolis.

Aamir Washington, described as being a 3 feet tall, weighing 45 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a black Nike T-shirt and red Nike shorts, according to a press release from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

He is missing from the 3600 block of Bearwood Drive, according to a missing person poster.

He is believed to be with Lequisha Green, who has no custodial rights to Washington, according to the release. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans and may be driving a 2000's black four-door SUV.

If you locate them, you are asked to call 911.
