INDIANAPOLIS -- Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrested a suspect in a homicide from Monday evening.
Ryan Scott, 19, was arrested in connection with the death of 19-year-old Steven Hunter. Police believe Hunter was shot during a drug robbery attempt.
Officers were called to the 5900 block of Milhouse Court near West Mann Road and Milhouse Road around 9;30 p.m. where they found a man with severe trauma to the upper part of his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner says Hunter died from a gunshot wound.
Scott has been preliminarily charged with murder.
