INDIANAPOLIS—If you were planning to head to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for opening night of the track's Lights at the Brickyard, you'll have to wait a day.
High winds are to blame.
The speedway has postponed opening night from Wednesday to Thursday.
IMS is encouraging those who were planning to attend to come out Thursday. The event runs through January 5.
