PLAINFIELD — The people in a car that ended up in a Plainfield swimming pool Tuesday are probably happy it was filled with water. It softened the blow.
The accident happened at the corner of Simmons and Oliver and involved two vehicles, according to the Plainfield Fire Territory.
As a result of the accident, one car went out of control, went through a fence and plunged into an inground pool.
The three people in the car were taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
Police and fire investigators stayed at the scene to sort out how it all happened.
