INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Zoo welcomed a new addition to the African Plains this week.
A 6ft tall male giraffe calf was born early Wednesday morning to mother Kita and dad Majani.

The zoo says the baby has not been named yet but he and his mother are doing well.
The baby boy and his parents will remain indoors with the rest of the herd this winter.
