INDIANAPOLIS -- A teen has been arrested in connection with the case where a gas station clerk was shot several times during an armed robbery at a gas station on Indianapolis' south side.

Surveillance video released earlier this month showed a clerk at the Phillips 66 at Madison Avenue and East Stop 11 Road being shot multiple times on January 2.

The clerk then ran to the Winchester Apartments nearby and his roommate called the police.

Police received a tip through Crime Stoppers that led them to a 15-year-old boy. That teen is now charged with battery, attempted murder and robbery. Because he is a juvenile and not being charged as an adult at this time, his identity has not been released.
