INDIANAPOLIS -- An 18-year-old man was shot and killed on Indianapolis' west side late Saturday evening.
The shooting happened just after 9 p.m. in the 4100 block of Vinewood Avenue.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers on the scene said they arrived to find one man who had been shot. That man was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has been identified as Geordyn Owens, 18.
Police have not released any details about a possible suspect or motive in the shooting.
The shooting remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
