INDIANAPOLIS — An Beech Grove woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on Interstate 465 in Indianapolis.
Cynthia Renihan, 50, was killed in the crash involving at least three vehicles just after 2 p.m. on I-465 northbound near Interstate 70 on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana State Police Sgt. John Perrine said in a press release.
When troopers arrived at the scene, good Samaritans stopped and were performing CPR on Renihan, Perrine said.
A preliminary investigation leads investigators to believe Renihan and the driver of another vehicle collided near the exit ramp to I-70, Perrine said. A third car got minor damage after the initial crash.
No other injuries were reported.
Investigators believe Renihan was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, Perrine said.
The crash remains under investigation.
