INDIANAPOLIS -- An expanding supermarket chain, which has spread its roots across parts of metro Indianapolis, is looking to bring more than 130 new jobs to our state and parts of northern Kentucky.

Aldi is holding a hiring spree on Saturday, April 28th at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.

More than 70 stores are participating in this one-day hiring blitz.

The grocer boasts it offers more than minimum wage, with hourly pay rates starting at $11.30 per hour.

Aldi is also looking to train managers, offering up to $80,000 per year for those moving into a Store Manager position.

Last year, Forbes magazine named Aldi as one of America's Best Large Employers.

Previously, RTV6 reportedAldi's plan to pump $30 million into the Indianapolis area to revamp 22 stores across central Indiana.

The upcoming hiring spree will be held on April 28th, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the JW Marriott.

Another Aldi hiring spree will be held the same day, same times in Muncie at 601 South High Street.
