INDIANAPOLIS -- A bomb squad was called to downtown Indianapolis for a suspicious package Monday morning, but all authorities found was some food and a bedroll left behind.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department bomb squad was called to the Julia M. Carson Transit Center near the intersection of Delaware and Washington streets around 10 a.m.
At the transit center, a box was seen with a blue cloth over it, but it turned out to be nothing dangerous.
#UPDATE: From @JuliePursley6, police are looking at some type of box and something covered with a blue cloth. Could be nothing, but @IMPDnews says it isn't taking any chances. @rtv6 pic.twitter.com/3akFvagPSd
