INDIANAPOLIS — A suspicious package found at IUPUI Saturday evening was filled with dry ice, according to police.
The incident was reported in the 500 block of Barnhill Drive, near West Michigan Street.
Smoke appeared to be coming from a cardboard box, according to police at the scene. A bomb squad responded to the scene to help investigate.

Officers were notified of the package around 5 p.m., according to police at the scene.
Some people in nearby buildings were evacuated.
