INDIANAPOLIS — A steam system leak Monday morning closed some roads in downtown Indianapolis.
Crews were called around 5:30 a.m. to the intersection of East Market and North Delaware streets after a large amount of steam was seen in the area.
Citizens Energy Group said repairs are underway and are expected to be completed by 2 p.m. Monday.
The steam was not toxic and is not a hazard, according to Citizens Energy Group.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers have closed some lanes in the area while crews are on the scene.
