INDIANAPOLIS -- A teenager shot to death Tuesday night on Indianapolis' west side has been identified as a former football player and a graduate of Lawrence North High School.
The shooting victim was Trevon Bonds, 19, according to the Marion County Coroner's Office.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers found Bonds around 7 p.m. in the 3500 block of Kebil Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lawrence North High School posted about Bonds' death on their Facebook page, and Coach Patrick Mallory tweeted about the running back.

There was another shooting around the same time about a half-mile away in the 3400 block of Moller Road. That victim is in critical condition.
Police say both shootings are connected but they aren't saying how.
