INDIANAPOLIS – A Little Free Library in Franklin Township was set on fire early Sunday morning.
Other mailboxes in the neighborhood were also set on fire and destroyed. It is unknown who or what started the fires at this time.
The Little Free Library #22997 in the Heathwood Neighborhood was started by Michelle and Tom Wagner in 2015.
Since it opened, they say the kids in the neighborhood loved to read or sketch pictures and sit on the benches.
The library was built using 100-year-old barn wood and a reclaimed window.
The Wagners hope to rebuild and restock the library.
