INDIANAPOLIS — You'll start seeing Girl Scouts back in your local grocery stores selling cookies this weekend.

As the pandemic continues, the girls will be socially distant, wearing face coverings, and offering contact-free options.

The Girl Scouts are now partnering with Grub Hub so you can get cookies delivered to your door.

Many troops won't be accepting cash.

"It's such a great opportunity to collaborate with grub hub, they are an amazing partner," Katie Dawson, communications manager for Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, said. "It's an amazing way to get Girl Scout cookies. Girl Scouts are the ones running the Grub Hub booths, inventory management, stuff like that. They are still learning some amazing skills through this grub hub partnership. It's a great way for people to get contactless Girl Scouts delivered straight to their door."

The money from the cookie sales goes directly back to girls in our community and is used for programming and community service projects.

You can download the Girl Scouts app or click here to find a booth near you.
