INDIANAPOLIS — On Monday night, a woman was hit by two vehicles and killed on the east side. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department detectives are asking for the community's help in locating one vehicle that hit the woman and fled the scene.

Immanuela “Faith” Irving, 22, was first struck by an IndyGo bus when she was walking in the middle of East 34th Street, near Dequincy. Officials believes Irving was then struck by a green Jeep Liberty, IMPD said.

The bus remained on the scene while the Jeep fled eastward.

The vehicle depicted is a 2002 to 2007 green Jeep Liberty. The picture associated with this article is not the actual Jeep, but is similar.

There is no plate information available at this time.

Anyone with information about this incident or the suspect vehicle is urged to call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477, or the Crash Investigation office at (317)327-6549.
