HAWAII  -- An Indianapolis couple went to the Hawaiian Islands for their honeymoon, but they are now stuck on the islands riding out Tropical Storm Lane.

Mike Stevens and his wife got married on Aug. 18 and went to Maui for their honeymoon. Hurricane Lane, which has been downgraded to a tropical storm, is causing flooding and landslides.

"We're actually on the ground floor of our place and the call is there's potential the storm surge could come up and start some flooding and whether that's from the water next to us or the just from flooding down the mountainside," Stevens said.

They said they have a plan in place but several grocery stores are almost empty.
