INDIANAPOLIS -- A Cathedral High School senior has a tough decision to make after he received appointments to three of the five top military academies in the country.

Seth Bolden, 18, has received appointment letters to the the United States Air Force Academy, the United States Military Academy and the United States Naval Academy. He has also received a Letter of Assurance from the United States Coast Guard Academy

"The military academies are comparable to Ivy League schools," said Bolden. "You get the best of both worlds, you get to help people when you get older and you get a great education."

To be accepted into any service academy, except for the Coast Guard Academy, a person must be nominated to the school by a U.S. Senator, a U.S. Representative or the Vice President of the United States.

Bolden says he's interested in the government but he hopes to focus on electrical engineering and then attend law school.

Bolden's mother says as far back as she can remember her son has always wanted to attend a military academy.

"He has a beautiful spirit," said Gloria. "He has God in his heart and he just wants to make a difference in the world one person at a time."
