IPS will still service free lunch despite closure

INDIANAPOLIS — On Tuesday evening, Indianapolis Public Schools announced that they - along with hundreds of others - will be closed on Wednesday, January 30 due to the the dangerously cold weather.

Even though classes are not in session, free lunches will still be provided to students 18-years-old and younger, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at five IPS locations.

Here are the five locations:

  • Eleanor Skillen School 34

1410 Wade Street

  • James Whitcomb Riley School 43

150 West 40th Street

  • Brookside School 54

3150 East 10th Street

  • Carl Wilde School 79

5002 West 34th Street

  • Arlington Woods School 99

5801 East 30th Street
