INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was found dead in the road in front of a home on Indianapolis' east side late Sunday evening.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 3100 block of Eastern Avenue just before 10 p.m. after a caller reported a body lying in the street.
When police arrived they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Anthony Lee Wiggins, 31. The cause of death was multiple gunshots wounds.
Police have not released any other details about the man's death and it remains under investigation.
