INDIANAPOLIS -- Miss Indiana, Lydia Tremaine, won the Friday night preliminary Talent award at the 2019 Miss America Competition.
The 20-year old from Kendallville sang a version of “That’s Life” by Frank Sinatra. She won the same award during the state preliminary competition in June, on her way to winning the Miss Indiana crown.
The award comes with an additional scholarship and it also puts Tremaine is a good position to advance to the top 15 of Sunday night’s Miss America Finals.
You can watch the finale of the competition, and the crowning of Miss America 2019, Sunday night at 9 p.m. on RTV6.
