SPEEDWAY, Ind. -- An 11-year-old Speedway girl was found safe after she was reported missing.
The girl was last seen at the Runaway Bay Apartments in Speedway at around 9 a.m. Monday.
A representative with the Speedway Police Department said she was found safe Tuesday morning.
A police spokesperson said there was no Amber Alert because this case did not meet the following qualifications for one to be issued:
- The child must be under 18 years of age.
- The child must be believed to be abducted, and in danger of serious bodily harm or death.
- There must be enough descriptive information to believe the broadcast will help.
- Request must be recommended by the law enforcement agency of jurisdiction.
