INDIANAPOLIS -- Three people were killed Friday morning when the car they were riding in crashed into a box truck on Indianapolis' northeast side.
The crash happened at about 11 a.m., near the intersection of Shadeland Avenue and Fall Creek Road.
A spokesperson with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said three people were killed when a sedan traveling southbound on the hilly, curving road slid around a curve and crashed into a box truck.
No names have been released.
The driver of the box truck was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
