IMPD investigating shots fired inside northeast Indianapolis Menards

INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after shots were fired inside a Menards Saturday morning.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called around 10:45 a.m. to the Menards at 7701 E. 42nd St. on the reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found a shell casing inside the store, according to a police report.

IMPD is also investigating a reported theft at the store at the same time. It is unknown if the two incidents are connected.

At this time, police have not made any arrests or provided any information on any possible suspects.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
