LAWRENCE, Ind. -- Lawrence residents have just a few more days to deal with traffic restrictions along 56th Street near Boy Scout Road.
Work on the 56th Street sidewalk extension is set for completion on Aug. 3.
City officials say the project will fill a gap in Lawrence’s pedestrian network.
The project will also update curb ramps in that area to make sure the city is complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Crews are also updating traffic signals at the intersection of Boy Scout Road and 56th Street.
