INDIANAPOLIS -- A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged last week in connection with a fatal shooting on Indianapolis' northeast side from May.

The shooting happened on the morning of May 29, 2018, at a Shell gas station near the intersection of 34th Street and Sherman Drive.

When police arrived, they found 50-year-old Sheriff Jallow with apparent gunshot wounds. He died as a result of his injuries a short time later.

A spokesperson with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Jallow was an employee of the gas station, but the shooting did not appear to be a robbery, they said.

On Sept. 26, 2018, 30-year-old Antonio Eubanks was arrested in connection with the crime. He faces a formal murder charge.
