INDIANAPOLIS-- IMPD officers are investigating a serious shooting that happened at an apartment complex on the northeast side early Saturday morning.
Officers say a man in his 20's was shot in the back at the Kingston Square Apartments, near 34th and Shadeland, around 2:30 a.m.
The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Investigators were having trouble determining who the suspect was because of conflicting reports at the scene.
Police say they were told the victim's aunt, ex-girlfriend, or two other men at the scene could have been responsible.
Police also say the parties involved were not cooperating with the investigation.
