One critical, one serious, after crash on northeast side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS -- Officers are investigating after a crash Sunday morning on Indianapolis's northeast side that left one in critical condition and one in serious condition. 

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency responders were called around 10 a.m. to the intersection of East 28th Street and North Shadeland Avenue on the report of multiple vehicles involved in a crash. 

When they arrived, they found at least two vehicles that crashed into a pole near Dunkin' Donuts at the intersection.

IMPD says two victims were taken to area hospitals. 

Police said they are still working to figure out the cause of the crash. 

At this time, the names of the people involved have not been released.
