INDIANAPOLIS — Two people were found shot on the east side of Indianapolis on Tuesday, January 22.
One person, a male, was pronounced dead at the scene, around 9:30 p.m., according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
The other victim, a female, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
A person of interest has been detained near the location of the shooting. Investigators are still active in the area, according to Michael Hewitt with IMPD.
