Person shot and killed on Indianapolis' west side

WEST SIDE -- A male was shot and killed on Indianapolis' west side Saturday evening. 

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the area of West 30th Street and Kessler Boulevard around 4:45 p.m.

Police say the male in his 30s was shot and killed in a vehicle. The victim's identity has not been released. 

Police believe the shooting the shooting occurred at another location.

No information is known on a possible suspect or motive at this time.

This shooting remains under investigation by IMPD. Anyone with information should contact IMPD or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317.262.8477.
