INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed early Sunday morning on the southside of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency responders were called around 12:30 a.m. to the 1100 block of East Kelly Street on the report of a person shot.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and shell casings in the area. The victim was transported to the hospital by medics in critical condition and later died.
At this time, police have not released the identity of the victim or any possible suspects.
