INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis semi truck driver had a very bad first day of work.

A truck driver on his very first day alone on the job got his truck stuck under a bridge on Indianapolis' south side Tuesday morning.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the intersection of Pagoda Drive and E. Pleasant Run Parkway around midnight. The bridge is actually an overpass for a train.

The driver had just left guidance of a trainer, police say. The bridge has been struck several times recently in the same way.

Nobody was injured.
