INDIANAPOLIS — Detectives are investigating after a person was shot and killed Saturday morning on the southeast side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency responders were called just before 9:30 a.m. to the 1600 block of East Minnesota Street on the report of a person shot.
When they arrived, they found a man who was shot and transported him to an area hospital. He later died at the hospital.
At this time, police have not released the identity of the victim.
