INDIANAPOLIS -- One woman was killed in a crash early Friday morning on Indianapolis' northeast side.
The crash happened just after 1 a.m., near the intersection of Sherman Drive and Southeastern Avenue.
Officers at the scene found a white Ford and a maroon sedan that had crashed at the intersection.
Police say Lori Smith, 55, died at the scene. A woman in her mid-20s who was driving the Ford was treated for minor injuries, but is now being tested for alcohol. Police believe she may have been drunk.
