INDIANAPOLIS-- Indy Metro Police are investigating a suspected drunk driving crash that critically injured one person on the southwest side.

It happened just after midnight Sunday.

Officers say an SUV was exiting I-465 at Kentucky Avenue when a truck ran a red light and slammed into the SUV.

Both drivers were treated for injuries but police say one of those people transported was critical.

It's unclear which driver was seriously injured.

The Kentucky Avenue ramp was closed for nearly three hours while the crash was investigated.

Police say they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
