Speedway Farmers Market returns for second year

Posted

SPEEDWAY, Ind. -- The Speedway Farmers Market is back for a second year in a new larger location and getting bigger.

Every Thursday you can find vendors selling fresh pasta and baked goods, canned fruits, relish and veggies, Amish meats and produce and more in the parking lot of Dare-Devil Brewing on Main Street.

They have 14 local vendors, and they’re offering more than just food.

You can pick up homemade lotions, pet treats and collars, homemade jewelry and even get a massage.

A licensed therapist will give massages in 5, 10 and 15-minute increments for $1 a minute.

The market will run Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. through November 1.
