INDIANAPOLIS -- A west side administrator has been named as the State Elementary Principal of the Year.
On Sunday, the Indiana Association of School Principals recognized Kathryn Raasch, Principal at Wayne Township Preschool.
District Elementary School Principals of the Year are elected by their peers, according to IASP.
Raasch will represent Indiana at the National Association of Elementary School Principals National Distinguished Principal Recognition Program in the fall of 2018.
The Indiana Association of School Principals is a not-for-profit association serving over 2700 building level administrators in the state of Indiana.
Raasch received her award at a dinner at the Indianapolis Marriott Hotel.
