INDIANAPOLIS -- Four children and one adult were hospitalized Monday afternoon after a crash on Indianapolis' west side.
The crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-465 near Sam Jones Expressway. A semi and a pickup truck were involved, according to the Wayne Township Fire Department.
Four children from the pickup truck were taken to Riley Hospital in good condition.
The driver of the semi was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in stable condition. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
