Car catches fire next to Speedway gas pump

INDIANAPOLIS-- Flames were burning just feet away from a gas pump early Sunday morning after a car caught fire in a gas station parking lot

Firefighters were called to the Speedway gas station on Rockville Road just before 4 a.m. on Sunday. 

The car fire could be seen from INDOT camera at the Rockville Road exit on I-465. 

Crews were able to keep the flames contained and there was no damage to the gas station. 

The car was heavily burned but no one was injured. 

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
