INDIANAPOLIS — Authorities are looking for the driver a van after they allegedly crashed into a westside grocery store and left the scene around 7 p.m. Sunday.
Indianapolis Fire Department crews say they estimate the damage will cost the grocery store, in the 10 block of Beachway Drive, between $30,000-40,000.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers said it is unknown if anyone was injured, but there is no evidence in the vehicle leading them to believe the driver, or any possible passengers, were injured.
IMPD will continue to investigate.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
