INDIANAPOLIS -- A couple on Indianapolis' west side is getting help for their house, amid fears it could be washed away into a creek.
RTV6 first met Kenneth Warden and his wife in April 2018. Warden was scared his house was going to fall into a nearby creek.
"If it continues, if the house starts sliding, it ain't gonna stop," Warden said in April.

John Schmitz, the founder of the Mars Hill Arts Center, said he saw one of the RTV6 stories on Warden's problem and decided to help out.
"I'm gonna get some folks together and we're gonna see what we can do," Schmitz said.
Schmitz is also a contractor. The Wardens' received bids to fix their property for about $100,000, but Schmitz said it will come at no cost to the couple.
RH Marlin is donating the equipment, K & K Aggregate is donating the trucking, and Brother's Collision donated $1,000 cash, Schmitz said.
Once the money is raised, work is expected to begin in about 2 1/2 weeks.
"They just don't want their house to slide down the hill," Schmitz said.
Community members will be raising money to help Warden at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Mars Hill Art Center. There will be a bake sale and some art for sale.
