INDIANAPOLIS-- A man was shot during what police believe was a robbery attempt after he left an Indianapolis club early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the Ritz nightclub off Harding Street around 2 a.m.
When they arrived they found a man in his mid-50's suffering from a gunshot wound to his stomach.
The victim told police he had left the nightclub and was outside his car near his home when he was shot. The man then walked back to the nightclub to call for help.
He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Police have not made any arrests in the case.
