Two people shot on Indy's westside after argument

INDIANAPOLIS -- Two people were shot on the westside of Indianapolis early Saturday morning after an argument.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency responders were called around 4:30 a.m. to the 5700 block of Port Au Prince Street on the report of a person shot. 

When they arrived, they found a man and woman with gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to the hospital by medics. 

Police said the man is in critical condition and the woman is in stable condition.

At this time, police have not released any information on any possible suspects.

The identities of the victims have not been released.
