INDIANAPOLIS — Large potholes that developed under a bridge on the city's west side have been filled after a "Working For You" report.

The large potholes under the bridge on Bridgeport Road, between Lighthorse Drive and Jackson Street had been nicknamed the "Grand Canyon."

RTV6 shed light on the issue Friday, with video of drivers making dangerous maneuvers to avoid driving over the craters.

After the story, those potholes were filled and drivers can now travel on a smoother section of road underneath the bridge.

Although, that's just one case. On Monday, Indy's Pothole Viewer displayed a little more than 7,000 potholes still impacting drivers throughout the city.
