Woman dies after being shot during possible road rage incident on Indianapolis' northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman has died after being shot during what police believe was a road rage incident on Indianapolis' northeast side Tuesday afternoon. 

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to an Indianapolis Fire Department Station on Sherman Drive just before noon after someone brought in a woman who had been shot. 

The victim, who was later identified as 31-year-old Brandy Brock, was taken to the hospital where she later died. 

Police were able to locate the crime scene in the 6000 block of E. 38th Street and after speaking to witnesses they believe the shooting was in response to a road rage incident. 

Police say all parties have been detained for questioning but so far no arrests have been made.
