INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis veteran received a brand new car on Wednesday thanks to a program working to provide reliable transportation to veterans around the country.
Shalonda Henderson, an Army veteran and proud single mother of three, was one of more than 80 veterans across the country who was gifted a vehicle from Progressive and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
Henderson says she hopes the use the new ride to shorten her commute to work.
